Tech Leaders Love Google+
When I joined Twitter in 2007 it was mainly tech people talking about tech things. As Twitter grew in popularity it was overrun with Oprah-watching, Ashton/Demi-following, CNN junkies. Tech people with their tens of thousands of followers were surpassed by the million+ follower celebrities. Tech people tried Facebook but then moms and grandmas joined the college students and then all the internet marketers flooded it with nonsense. Now there is Google+, a place built by tech people for tech people. It’s a place without teenagers, movie stars, and mom (so far). It’s a place tech people can ask questions and tech leaders are once again celebrities. No wonder they like Google+.
